Prior to joining SRE, Mr Desmond Tang was Managing Director and partner at GrowthPath Capital Private Limited, a real estate investment management and advisory firm that he co-founded.

Mr Tang has over 27 years of experience in real estate investment and management. He was formerly Co-Head and Managing Director of Alpha Investment Partners (“AIP”), the real estate fund management unit of Keppel Land. Prior to AIP, he was a Director of Fund Management with Prudential Insurance Company of America’s Asia real estate arm named GRA (Singapore) Private Limited.

Mr Tang has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University.

Prior to joining SRE, Mr Paul Yi held the concurrent roles of Head of Investments for ARA Private Funds and CEO of ARA Managers (Asia Dragon II) Pte. Ltd.

As Head of Investments, he was responsible for the investment activities of ARA’s fund management business across Asia and Australia. As CEO of ARA Managers (Asia Dragon II) Pte. Ltd., he was responsible for managing a pan-Asian opportunistic fund focusing on investments primarily in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Mr Yi has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and management across various geographies, asset classes, and products. He was based in Tokyo from 2005 to 2008 as a Managing Director at Capmark Finance Inc., where he was responsible for the company’s business development and funds management platform in Asia. From 2000 to 2005, he was based in Seoul and Hong Kong with Merrill Lynch (Asia) as a Director in the global principal investments group covering real estate investment activities in Asia ex-Japan. Mr Yi began his career in the United States having worked for Blackrock Inc. from 1998 to 2000 and PNC Bank N.A. from 1996 to 1998 in the CMBS sector and commercial lending respectively.

Mr Yi holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University, USA.

Ms Goh Yah Huay is Group Treasurer of The Straits Trading Company Limited since January 2018. She is also Director of Finance at Straits Real Estate Pte Ltd where she is responsible for all accounting, treasury and finance related functions.

Prior to joining SRE, Ms Goh was Vice President of Finance at Straits Trading where she was responsible for cash flow management, financial analysis, statutory/management reporting and financial consolidation activities for the Hospitality Division.

Ms Goh has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Accounting, Controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to joining The Straits Trading Company Limited, she was Financial Controller for South Asia for Imation Singapore Pte Limited and spent 10 years at BMC Software.

An Accountant by training, Ms Goh has a strong track record of identifying, analysing and evaluating business and financial challenges and recommending financial models to strategically address these challenges. She is well versed in managing financial activities across the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms Goh is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore since 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the Nanyang Technological University.

Ms Adeline Fong has over 20 years of experience in regional real estate, spanning the areas of property development, asset management and fund management.

Ms Fong was previously Assistant Director for Asset Management with Alpha Investment Partners, where she specialised in designing and implementing asset enhancement programmes to reposition assets and unlock values in underperforming assets. She is adept in adopting holistic approaches to optimise asset returns across various fund strategies.

Prior to that, she was Head of Business Development and Investment at OUB Centre Limited, where she undertook development projects in Singapore and China.

Ms Fong holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore.
